The San Giuseppe bathing establishment is located in a central position in San Bartolomeo al Mare and is open to everyone.
Owned by Hotel Villa San Giuseppe, the beach extends over 1500 square meters of fine gravel.
Equipped with well-spaced sun umbrellas and sunbeds to ensure the necessary comfort and privacy for the full enjoyment of the holiday, the beach represents an important strong point of our Hotel.
The breakwaters just off the beach protect against storm surges and allow bathing even with a slightly rough sea.
The beach is open from 01/06 to 15/09 each year.
Beach front area
From spring to autumn a sandy 2000 sqm “beach front area” (solarium) is available: a space equipped with a sea view terrace, changing cabins, showers, toilets, boules court (opening according to weather conditions).
The beach front area is a safe place for our younger guests to play, in which they can have fun with a lot of activities.
During the summer there is an entertainment service for children.
Beach bar
For those who wish to enjoy the sea and the panorama of the Gulf of Diano, our beach bar offers a delicious breakfast in the beach front area.
The beach bar is surrounded by tables and seating areas with sun umbrellas where it is possible to enjoy delicious hot and cold meals, drinks, ice creams or an excellent aperitivo, one of Italy’s cultural traditions.
The San Giuseppe bathing establishment beach bar is open from the 01/06 until 15/09 each year.
Play area
In the beach front area, a large children’s playground guarantees the children loads of fun in a safe environment.
Boules court
The boules court in the beach front area is available for a relaxing game amongst friends.
Activities
During the summer season, Villa San Giuseppe Hotel offers courses of water aerobics. Otherwise, you can choose between courses of yoga or muscular re-awakening, just a short distance from our beach.
